We know that our alcohol-based hand sanitizers are an effective way to disinfect your hands throughout the day when soap & water are not available.

The CDC recommends that a hand sanitizer should be least 60% alcohol our current formula is 70% alcohol. The other components are a blend of Aloe Barbadensis Miller and Fractionated Coconut Oil which will help soothe dry skin caused by the high content of alcohol. We also add ethically sourced essential oils which have known antimicrobial & antibacterial properties as well as an amazing scent.

We offer a 2-ounce spray in either Lavender & Tea Tree OR Orange & Clove (the latter includes Cinnamon, Eucalyptus & Rosemary).

PLEASE DO NOT ADD TO OR DILUTE THIS RECIPE, IT WILL CHANGE THE % OF ALCOHOL AND MAKE THE SANITIZER LESS EFFECTIVE.

Here's how we make our sanitizers:

Before we start each batch, we begin by clearing our space with Palo Santo, we open our circle with prayer and send healing Reiki energy to our ingredients. We place clear quartz crystals in our mixing bowl while blending and we have rose quartz, amethyst and selenite at our workstation. We do this to bring as much love and healing energy to whomever we can while our planet is in crisis. We hope that with each spray you remember the healing energy and take a deep healing breath in and calming breath out. #Wereallinthistogether

Here is a little information on how our other ingredients work:

Aloe Barbadensis leaf extract: Has potent antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. Aloe vera contains powerful antioxidants, which belong to a large family of substances known as polyphenols. Polyphenols, along with several other compounds in aloe vera, can help inhibit the growth of certain bacteria that can cause infections in humans.

Fractionated Coconut Oil: Coconut oil in its pure form is also Antimicrobial, however, once it’s separated (fractionated) its main purpose is to moisturize, which is why we add it.

Essential Oils in our formulas:

                Lavender: antibacterial, antifungal and emotionally soothing

                Tea Tree: antibacterial, Nature's Disinfectant, highly effective at killing off harmful bacteria as well as mold, yeast, fungi & viruses

                Orange: Helps improve the quality of our immune system and supports positive thought patterns. To uplift our spirit.

                Clove: antibacterial, antifungal,insecticidal and antioxidant properties

                Cinnamon: is an antioxidant & has anti-inflammatory effects, highly effective at inhibiting very strong bacterium strains

                Rosemary: Helps prevent the growth of disease-causing organisms, treats viruses helps to kill lingering bacteria in the air.

                Eucalyptus: is an antiseptic and helps relieve symptoms of cough, cold, sore throat, and other infections

Disclaimer: Some ingredients (especially  the alcohol & essential oils) may cause skin irritation to people with sensitive skin. It is recommended to perform a patch test before use. To patch test, place as small amount on the back of your wrist and leave for an hour or more. If irritation or redness occurs wash the area and discontinue use.
